Portfolio: paintings

I really enjoy painting landscapes from photos I've taken and places I've loved. I'm currently working on a series of paintings from different locations in Boulder, Colorado, and it's been so fun to see how many distinct ways I can paint the city and the prairie/mountains that surround it. 

I work with acrylic paint, bold colors, and work to capture the essence of the landscape I'm painting, over fixation on realistic details. I hope you can tell that painting is my passion project -- it's the most wonderful way to unwind after a long day or spend a slow Saturday morning.
